How to Add to Your Home Screen
By adding Biei Story Guide to your smartphone’s home screen, you can launch it quickly just like an app, and view some content offline (an internet connection is required only the first time).
Important Point
Please note that you cannot add to the home screen when using in-app browsers such as Instagram, LINE, or Twitter.
Be sure to open the site with Safari on iPhone or Chrome (or Edge / Samsung Internet) on Android.
▼For iPhone (Safari)
- Open Biei Story Guide in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (square with the upward arrow).
- Select Add to Home Screen.
- You may edit the name (for example, “Biei Story Guide”).
- Tap Add.
- An icon will be created on your home screen. You can start the guide from there.
▼For Android (Chrome)
- Open Biei Story Guide in Chrome.
- Tap the Menu icon (⋮) in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app, depending on your device).
- Tap Add.
- An icon will be created on your home screen. You can start the guide from there.
Using Offline
- Please access the guide once in an environment with internet connection.
- After that, you can view the guide even in places without a signal.
- However, functions that link to external services such as Google Maps will still require a connection.
